Cardio

Today I did this cardio exercise:

A great one!

An intense night...

...full of weird dreams made me sit down immediately this morning and write a song, this time with Swedish lyrics;=)

It´s a melancholic song full of sadness and I hope I can record it really soon to see if it´s a keeper and if I will use the Swedish text or should re-write it in English. Writing in Swedish is something I haven´t done since early Alyson Avenue days, so it´s quite challenging. There´s something with writing in my native language, it feels harder to not make it sound "cheesy" if you know what I mean?;=)

But every challenge to develop is a GREAT challenge, right?

Now time for cardio exercise! Here´s a song from my time with Alyson Avenue about dreams, so suitable after my dreamy night;=)

ENJOY this day my dear ones!

Home baked;=)

So, I´ve done some baking now with my new lovely Kitchen aid and I first baked a lovely bread for us that we love! Then yesterday I did my own protein bars. Good and much cheaper than buying them and best part is that I know exactly what I put into them;=) Good for the body and good to not find any weird E-numbers in them!

Here´s the recipe for the protein bars:

Ingredients:
200 gram protein powder (I used strawberry flavour)
100 gram extra high fiber oat meal
Appr. 1 dl of low fat milk
50 gram of natural non sugar peanut butter
50 gram of honey
1 dl of chopped natural walnuts
1dl of chopped dried dates
30 gram of cacao
+ 30 gram of dark 70% chocolate (optional)

Do like this:
Blend together all the dry ingredients, the chopped walnuts and dates and honey. Then add some milk (not all) and mix together with your hands until it holds together but aren´t to wet. Like my photo above, a quite firm paste. Then put a baking paper in a form and spread out on top of the paper like mine above. Melt the chocolate in a hot water bath and then put it on top of the paste. Put the form into the fridge for about half and hour and then cut the paste into bars that you then fold with plastic foil and keep them all in the fridge.
Very tasty and delicious and perfect as an in-between meal or straight after your exercise;=)

Last days exercising;=)

Hi all,

So the last 3 days of working out has been this:

Saturday: weights and kettlebell upper body. I always use my tabata so I do 20 seconds work, 10 seconds rest and total of 8 rounds.

My exercises on saturday was: push ups against my couch, should lifts forward and to the side, flies lying on my pilates ball, bench press with weights lying on my pilates ball and kettlebell swings

Then yesterday was my cardio day and then I did this video: (hard one)

And now I just finished my weight exercise for today and it was upper body, tabata style and the exercises was:
push up towards my couch
shoulder lifts forward and to the side
shoulder lifts with weights to the side and doing little circles
tricep lifts behind the head
flies lying on my pilates ball
bench press lying on my pilates ball

Tada! 3 days done and 3 days to go before my resting day;=)
ENJOY this day and go get them!

Best music for...

...weight exercise AND getting both my little boys to sleep is Soilwork - The living infinite;=)

Here´s the playlist!

Today I´m doing a hard upper body weight exercise - feels good!!!

Relaxed outfits;=)

Here´s my last days when it comes to what I´ve been wearing;=) Relaxed and summery since it´s been warm and lovely here!

Thursday very easy-going without make-up and in a new sweater from H&M Trend and shorts from Odd Molly

My birthday morning when going to the mall I felt like being "golden" in new shorts from H&M Trend

Sneakers from ASH

And for my little b-day party I chose leopard skirt from H&M

And a very easy hair-do using a hair bun

Decorated it with a small butterfly to celebrate midsummer:

And yesterday when going out to the park and playground I had all H&M on except my Gucci sneakers

A hair do where I did a side fringe and then made two baked braids that I fastened in the back of my head.

Birthday;=)

Hi all and a happy Sunday to you!!

It´s been a busy but really nice weekend with my birthday and midsummer celebrations. My birthday was celebrated very easy-going at home with just my boys and mum and her husband. I am not a big fan of big parties so it was a perfect day and evening In Sweden normally Midsummer eve is celebrated quite big with parties, often in the countryside, drinking a lot and eating herring and strawberries. But we like to just relax and take it easy;=)

I got a nice gift from Johan with family, a gift card to buy a Kitchen aid and in the morning I went to the mall to pick my color and after a hard decision I chose the raspberry color;=)

I tried it out yesterday, baking a lovely bread and it´s a wonderful machine. Easy and simple to use, to clean and fast working. I will so love this for many years;=) Thanks to Johan, my kids and Johan´s parents and sister with family for this truly wonderful gift!;=)

I found a fun little bluetooth speaker as a gift to myself and the price was perfect too. Appr. 30 Euros and it matches my kitchen aid quite perfect too. Sound is great and we used it yesterday when we exercised and played In Flames loudly while lifting weights, me and Johan. Today it´s cardio time for both of us!

And I drink my coffee and tea in this lovely new cup I got from mum and her husband on my birthday. I wished for this since I love the little Swedish Dala horses on it;=)

I made a birthday cake for us too:
It´s chocolate cake filled with strawberry jam, bananas, vanilla whip, whipped cream and topped with raspberries, blueberries, white chocolate and small marshmallows;=) Yum!

And a midsummer table was set, of course;=)

On top of all of this, I got lots of sms:es, emails and congrats in my INSTAGRAM and in here. I want to thank EVERYONE who sent me congrats and made my day a wonderful day and turning 42 was a perfect day;=)

THANKS!!!
